


On another note, I went to Olvera St. in Downtown LA yesterday for a Spanish project with some friends. It's a street that Mexicans used to live on a long long long time ago. Basically now, it's a street full of street vendors selling authentic Mexican things, tiny resteraunts, and dancers/singers. It was really cool and besides getting our project done, I got this snazzy bag :)


And I got these things called worry dolls. It comes in this bag:

The little paper inside the bag says: There is a legend amongst the highland Indian village of Guatemala. If you have a problem then share it with a worry doll. Before going to bed, tell one worry to each doll, then place them beneath your pillow. While you sleep the dolls will take your worries away. These are the dolls:
